To renegotiate or to cancel my whole life insurance ?

Hello, When I was 25 y.o (non-smoking, healthy female without family), I was convinced to buy whole life insurance. I had to pay 2000$/yr for 20 years for 100K base coverage. I was told that it's a great investment tool, because by the time I was going to be 65, the policy would accumulate almost 1M$ and then I could borrow against it and have a nice retirement. I'm not so convinced anymore. I paid for 3 years and then I lost my job and reduced the payments to 1000$/yr, which brought my coverage to 60K (at 28 y.o) ! So up to today, I have paid 2000*3+2*1000=8000$. My coverage is 64.8K only. If I understand well my statement, the cash value now is 4609$. I have another 15 years to go with this insurance. Is it better to cancel it or to continue with it ? Or is it possible to renegotiate the insurance, because it really seems like a bad deal now ? Thanks so much !

I read some forums online and it seems pretty heavy. Right now I am out of work and I am living on unemployment insurance. I can barely make payments using that. Anyway my car insurance is supposed to be cancelled this monday at 12:01A.M. standard time. I called them today to make a payment . But the local office is closed and the main office said they can't take anything less than the premium which is - $792.38. I can't pay that right now. That's out of the question. Effects of Multiple Sclerosis on car insurance?

A friend of mine was diagnosed with relapsing remitting MS just over a year ago. She had several bad relapses one after another but was then put on tysabri and has been getting better and better since then. She now feels ready to start driving again but is worried her insurance will be through the roof. She is in good health now and because of the tysabri is not likely to have a relapse again for at least a couple of years. Does anyone have any experience of trying to get car insurance if you have MS?

I've just bought a car, it's only a 6-7 minute drive away but I've been assured I don't want to be caught without insurance when picking it up and driving it home. What can I do about this insurance/car accident?

Recently, my husband was hit in my car while going through a green light. The girl didn't see him as he was going through and turned and hit him. Now we are fighting with her crappy insurance. They are trying to say we are 25% liable and they will only pay 75% to fix our car. They are trying to say my husband should have been more cautious going through the light. It was a green light! So, what, we are supposed to treat stoplights like stop signs now? How ridiculous. My husband decided to be nice and not have the cop issue her a ticket. Was that a bad idea? I mean, she turned into him. How much more cautious could my husband have been? Question for Daycare center/summer camp owners, how much does your daycare insurance cost each month?

I am looking into starting a summer camp type daycare next summer. I am writing up a cost summary and I have no clue what the average price for insurance is. I am looking for like the insurance that covers injuries, accidents, accident while on field trips/bus and like when you get sued for these injuries and stuff. I do not need to average cost of insurance for the building or vehicles. I gave a urine sample for life insurance, want two more samples on different days. Why??

I gave a urine and blood sample about a month ago for life insurance. I received a call yesterday from the company that takes performs the physical and takes the samples...they said my insurance company wants to more urine samples on two different days. Why is that?? It has me really worried and I can't call the insurance office until tomorrow to find out why. I had a traffic accident with a bus and I had surgery, my health insurance payed 70% of all treatment fees and I payed 30%. now I have right to a compensation from the bus' insurance company because it was the bus driver mistake. they asked me for all the receipts to calculate the total cost. now I wanna include the amount paid by my health insurance company, do I have the right to do that ?
